Old Head is one of the most dramatic places you could ever dream of building a golf course. When you drive past the outhouse at the front gate and down onto the peninsula you start to realise you're in a special place.

The first hole eases you into things but when you step out onto the 2nd tee you start to see what all the fuss is about.

The golf course itself is very playable, it's not set up to be as tough a test as it could be. The Given how exposed the course is it just wouldn't be right to make it any more difficult. The design of the course is not necessarily the best in the world but don't worry about that. A walk around this place with your friends will be one of the most special days of your life.
