The sun sets on the west as you will know and given Lahinch is on Ireland's west coast you will catch incredible sunsets at this iconic beach. Lahinch is known as a surfing and golfing town so if you're here, there is no better way to shake off a way pints from the night before than taking a dip in the Atlantic Ocean at Lahinch beach.

If you're brave enough to take on the waves I would definitely recommend renting a surf board at one of the surf huts, catch some waves and then cast your eye over the golf course which sits right on the beach.
