This is one of my favourite spots in Ireland for sunrise.

The Black Castle in Wicklow town is a ruin of an old castle that sits right on the cliffs above the beach where St.Patrick himself first landed into Ireland.

It’s also right beside Wicklow Golf Club so for an ideal start to a day, my suggestion is pick up a coffee at the nearby Good Life coffee shop and stroll along the quay up to the Black Castle, take in the sunrise and get ready for your tee time at Wicklow Golf Club.
