You will be well aware of Royal County Down and Portrush in the North but Ballybunion is the number 1 ranked golf course in the Republic of Ireland. This place was famously Tom Watson's favourite golf course and he used it to prepare for many of his Open Championships.

A lot of people say the course doesn't get going until the 7th hole which is only half true but when you do step out onto that 7th teebox you start to see what all the fuss is about.
