Denmark's highest soaring site at 60m. Dramatic sandy cliff Ridgeline with a lighthouse perched on top made famous by JB Chandeliers film ‘Light Line’ This movie possibly put soaring in Denmark on the map for a lot of Paragliders, 12 years later his flying style and skill is still etched into my mind. The lighthouse has since been moved back from the edge of the ridge, which doesn’t allow for top landing unfortunately, but definitely a cool site to fly, with big possibilities with its height.
With the shape of the ridge you need the direction to be square on to be able to fly close to the terrain. There are big spine like fins that run top to bottom of the ridge that cause a lot of rotor if the wind is cross. Similar conditions are needed to comfortably play on the open sandy sections on top.
