Tucked down a little alleyway off Bank Street in the Old Coach House at Cribbar Yard — the kind of place you only find if someone tells you about it, which is exactly how it should be. An intimate, cosy wine bar with a serious selection of natural wines, craft beers (Kernel, Beak and others), and signature serves like white port and tonic that keep people staying for three hours when they meant to stay for one. Small plates of charcuterie, artisan cheese, olives and homemade pickles. Knowledgeable, passionate staff and a great playlist. A proper antidote to Newquay’s surf-bar scene. Open Thursday to Sunday from 6pm.
