Hawker's Cove is a charming coastal settlement located in north Cornwall, just a stone's throw away from Padstow. This small hamlet boasts two rows of cozy cottages, a coastguard station, and a boathouse with a slipway that used to house the Padstow lifeboat. Fun fact: actor Edward Woodward called this place home until 2009! With limited facilities, including a tiny tea garden at the historic 'Coastguard Houses,' Hawker's Cove is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful seaside retreat. Don't forget to check out the sandy beach and keep an eye out for the notorious Doom Bar sandbank lurking beneath the waves at high tide.
