A beautifully restored 1790 Georgian townhouse at the end of historic Chapel Street, with six individually designed rooms, all looking out over Penzance Harbour and Mount’s Bay towards St Michael’s Mount. Owner Susan Stuart runs it with the warmth of a house party rather than a hotel — welcome cake on arrival, a boot room stocked with wellies and waterproofs, and legendary Kitchen Suppers cooked on a range in the evenings. There’s also a hot tub and sauna on site. The sleeper train from London arrives ten minutes away. One of those places you’ll want to come back to.
