Porthtowan Tidal Pool/Rockpool is a hidden gem in North Cornwall, perfect for wild swimmers and brave souls looking to take a dip in the chilly waters. Built in 1908 by Mr Francis Berginger with the Prince of Wales' permission, this sea pool offers a refreshing escape from the summer crowds. Although there's no wheelchair access, it's a great spot for a tranquil swim during low tide or a peaceful winter evening dip. Just watch out for the seasonal dog ban on the beach!
