Belstone and Belstone Tors

Belstone is a charming little village nestled in West Devon, sitting on the northern side of Dartmoor, surrounded by picturesque landscapes and natural beauty.

This is one of my favourite parts of North Devon, and is a go to spot for a moderate hike on the moors. The area is made up of visible tracks which you follow, before climbing to the dramatic tors and following the ridge. With its highest point reaching 460m above sea level, Belstone offers stunning views and it’s a brilliant spot for sunset.

The village itself has a rich history, with Bronze Age remains and a 13th-century parish church dedicated to St. Mary. Belstone has also been featured in literature and film, adding to its charm!
