Watermouth Cove is a pretty shingle cove with a very narrow entrance to the sea. Overlooked by Watermouth Castle, it’s a haven for boats which take up most of the harbour, but I love it as a launch spot for the SUP. If you veer away from the larger cove entrance, there is a smaller opening just around the back of the holiday park which offers crystal clear water, and is then a short paddle board ride to Broadsands Beach!
