Totnes is a quirky market town in Devon, England, known for its alternative vibe and "New Age" community. With a history dating back to 907, it boasts charming merchants' houses from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Totnes is where you can live a bohemian lifestyle and immerse yourself in a unique atmosphere. The town hosts a variety of events, including the Sea Change Festival, and is famous for being the first transition town in the transition initiative. There are some lovely little shops and cafes along the high street to potter along so I can highly recommend whiling away a few hours exploring this laid back market town.
