Humboldt Redwoods State Park is full of incredible redwood groves to explore, and the Rockefeller Forest is one you don't want to miss! Many redwood trees here are around 2,000 years old and have become true behemoths. The hike is a short loop, so you'll have plenty of time to explore other trails after you finish it.

About halfway into the hike, you can take a short detour down to Bull Creek, which is a nice spot to sit for a few minutes and enjoy the sounds of the forest.

Note: To get to the parking area, you must make a sharp turn onto a steep and narrow road. Keep a close eye out to make sure you don't miss it! Parking is also extremely limited, so aim to get there earlier in the day to grab one of the few coveted spots.
