Penzance is great, there's a beautiful art deco lido (outdoor salt water swimming pool), you can visit the sub-tropical Morrab Gardens, visit a pirate-themed pub, shop at a wonderful travel bookshop, stroll around a bunch of quirky shops and eat more vegan cake, what more could a tired vegan hiker ask for!
