Dao Falls in Southern Cebu, Philippines is an incredible adventure destination for any traveler. Located in the Samboan region, Dao Falls towers 50 meters tall above a large catch basin, and visitors can trek through jungle terrain to reach the falls. Along the path to the main Dao Falls, there are several blue rock pools and a bamboo bridge that can be crossed along the way. After reaching the waterfall, visitors can cool off with a refreshing swim in the emerald green pool at the base of the falls. A helpful guide and entrance fee of 200 pesos is included when visiting the falls; however, waterproof shoes and a dry bag are recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.
