What to order
The famous prego (steak sandwich), or the enormous ham and cheese toasted sandwich if you’re sharing. We went for the toastie and it was far bigger than we expected.

Why it’s here
A proper local favourite that’s well worth the trip outside Porto’s city centre. It’s best known for its prego, but the giant toastie alone makes it worth visiting.

Tip
It’s outside the centre, so we recommend taking a Bolt or Uber. We actually stopped here straight from Porto bus station on our way into the city, and it worked perfectly.
