What to order:
Head straight for one of the seafood counters and order whatever looks best that day. We loved the fresh seafood, but you’ll also find excellent jamón, olives and classic Andalusian tapas throughout the market.
Why it’s here:
Located in the heart of Triana, this is one of Seville’s best food markets and a great place to experience the city’s food culture in one stop. It’s still a working market used by locals, alongside a collection of tapas bars and food stalls where you can eat and drink as you explore.
Tip:
Visit around lunchtime when the bars are buzzing but before the evening crowds arrive. It’s a great place to graze rather than sit down for a full meal, so order a few things from different stalls and share. Afterwards, spend some time exploring Triana, one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Seville.
