What to order
The croissants are what they’re best known for. We actually went for a selection of other pastries instead, but after seeing so many people ordering the croissants, we’d definitely be tempted to try one next time.
Why it’s here
A traditional Porto pastry shop that’s been serving locals since 1974. Everything is made in-house, and it’s a great spot if you want to experience a classic Portuguese pastelaria rather than a modern artisan bakery.
Tip
Go in the morning when everything is freshly baked and there’s the best selection. It gets busy with locals grabbing breakfast and coffee, so arriving early is your best bet. They open from 7am–7/7.30pm every day of the week.
