Upper Banon Creek Falls is a hidden gem hike not known to many. Despite its beauty, Upper Banon Creek Falls remains relatively unknown, so you're likely to have this stunning spot all to yourself.

Most of the trail is a long, steady incline on a well maintained path. But the last section to the falls is steep, muddy, root covered and more difficult to navigate.

But there is a secret here. If you don't want to hike all the way up, there is a logging road you can drive up which takes you to this waterfall's trailhead. But you will need a 4WD vehicle with high clearance to make it up. Check AllTrails to find the road that leads here.

The waterfall is most impressive during the rainy months from October to April.

Just remember to leave no trace and enjoy the natural beauty of this hidden paradise.

This hike is rated as moderate. Length 9.8 km, Elevation gain 406 m, Route type Out & back.
