The Fløyfjellet hike, starting at the parking in Svolvær's city centre, is an exciting and picturesque trek with stunning views of Lofoten and the Vestfjord. The hike up to this mountain passes the famous Djevelporten (“The Devil’s Gate"), a large rock stuck in a gorge, and it's fun, accessible Sherpa stairs – "Devil's Stairs". After reaching the summit of the mountain, explorers will be rewarded with the fantastic views over the city. At the very top of Fløyfjellet, adventurers will find a steep but achievable 2-3 meter passage - for those brave enough to scramble to the peak.
