Þórufoss is a lesser-known waterfall near Þingvellir National Park and it's a good spot to visit if you're looking for a quieter waterfall away from the Golden Circle crowds. Þórufoss was also featured in Game of Thrones (season 4, episode 6) where one of Daenerys’ dragons attacks and eats a goat.
