To get to Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands) you'll need to hop aboard the ferry departing from the Landeyjahöfn ferry terminal. You may board with your vehicle so that you can drive around the main island of Heimaey, or, put on your walking shoes and explore Heimaey on foot. The ferry ride is about 45 minutes long one-way.

Be sure to arrive at the ferry terminal AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to your departure.
