The Baltimore Beacon in Cork is a quirky cone-shaped tower perched on the rugged coastline, known locally as "Lot's Wife" for some mysterious reason. No fence, be careful not to go near the edge. Built over 200 years ago as part of a warning system for sailors, this white beacon offers stunning views and a short, scenic walk from the village of Baltimore. Limited parking is available, so it's best to arrive early or enjoy the breezy stroll from town. Nearby attractions like whale watching, Barleycove Beach, Mizen Head, and Sherkin Island make it a perfect spot for a day of exploring along the Wild Atlantic Way.
