A 16-meter waterfall and a 3.6-kilometer nature trail through an ancient forest canyon, located about an hour from Rovaniemi. The trail includes an observation tower and a historic log chute.

The trail is modified for people with dogs. There is a lot of metal stairs, so the dogs get their own part covered in wood to protect the paws.

NOTE

• The parking area is directly at the start of the trail and waterfall. You can also find toilets and a fire shelter. Easy access from the main road, very easy to drive even in winter.

• The rustic cafe is definitely recommended! Maybe you want to try some very good local reindeer pie?

• During a forest fire warning it is prohibited to have an open fire. You can check the warnings for each region on the FMI website.
