Get ready for an unforgettable adventure to La Leona Waterfall, a stunning turquoise gem tucked away in a volcanic canyon. This isn't your typical roadside cascade; you'll earn your swim with a guided 1.86-mile (3 km) journey that's as much a part of the experience as the waterfall itself. You'll hike through the forest, wade across crystal-clear rivers, and navigate a beautiful stone canyon to reach the breathtaking waterfall, a trip that takes about 2 to 3 hours. It's a truly immersive experience in the wild heart of Guanacaste that rewards you with a spectacular, secluded swimming spot.

I dont really recommend visiting this place in rainy season (may to december) because it can be a bit dagerous.

For some reason people that visit Guanacaste province think that there are only beaches there but this is definitly one place you need to visit!
