For a truly local experience with breathtaking views, head up to Cerro Tinajita. It's a bit of a hidden gem where you'll be rewarded with incredible panoramic vistas stretching all the way to the Pacific. The final part of the drive is on an unpaved road, so a 4x4 is recommended, and from where you park, it's a short but steep 5-minute walk to the very top. It's the perfect spot for a quiet sunrise or a stunning sunset, and you'll likely have the place all to yourself.
