It’s a fun photo spot and a lovely place to get a bit more quality time. Praia Formosa is located in Funchal, and is one of the largest beaches on the island. It actually consists of four beaches from which three are mixed with sand and pebbles. Located at Formosa Beach, this huge rock standing out from the ground, offers an amazing view over Funchal city. You can climb it up by stairs made of rock to watch the sunset or just to observe local boys fishing.
