HIGH-CLEARANCE VEHICLE REQUIRED

Medicine Lake is an off-the-beaten path destination near Moab up in the La Sal mountains. It's a long, and sometimes rough, road out there, but because it's so remote you can typically find some peace and solitude. It's a great place to escape the heat with your dog during the summer. There's some dispersed camping in the vicinity, but I recall my husband and I searching for a good spot for a while.
