Dead Horse Point State Park is a can't-miss dog-friendly destination in Moab. The park faces east and provides incredible views of the La Sals, Colorado River, and colorful potash ponds. It's next door to Canyonlands National Park, which makes it a great dog-friendly alternative. While I recommend hiking the loop trail through the park, it's worth the detour if you're just looking for a scenic spot to watch the sunrise or sunset with your dog.

Cost: $20/vehicle or use annual Utah state park pass (only available to Utah residents)
