You'll find one of Iceland's most iconic sights here at Búðakirkja, our little black church set against the raw, dramatic landscape of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. It’s a beautifully stark and simple sight, standing alone in a vast lava field, which makes for some incredible photos no matter the weather. Take a short, easy stroll from the car park to the church, and then wander down the nearby path for about two minutes to discover a lovely golden beach, a rare sight in Iceland. It’s a peaceful spot to just soak in the immense scenery.
