Link to video Areena Riverside Resort has quickly become one of our favourite spots for a nature escape 😍🏕 Just a few kilometres from the sea, this riverside resort is pure wild coast magic — think peaceful mornings by the water, giraffes roaming the bush, and views that take your breath away 🍃🌊

We stayed in one of the cozy riverside cabins before moving to the beautiful campsite, which is super well maintained with grassy sites, hot showers, a swimming pool, jungle gym, and so much more. Abby the giraffe is the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet 🦒🥹 and she’ll 100% steal your heart!

You can kayak or SUP down the river, enjoy a massage at the spa, grab a pizza at the restaurant, or book activities like zip lining and quad biking! So much to do, but still the perfect place to unwind. We’ll definitely be back 🙌💛

Low season camping rates are around R450 to R500 per night and high season around R650 to R700 per night for a powered site (rates can vary with exact stand and season). The resort is open all year round and pet friendly on a leash
