A famous beach home to a colony of African penguins, Boulders Beach allows visitors to observe and interact with these charming creatures in their natural habitat. For South African citizens, the entrance fee is R55 for adults (12+ years) and R26 for children (2–11 years), valid from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026. The price is slightly higher for international visitors.

At the far end of the beach, you can squeeze through a small cave-like opening between the rocks, and after climbing over a few boulders, you’ll reach a much quieter part of the beach where you’re almost guaranteed to see even more penguins up close.

We highly recommend a visit!
