The Waiotemarama Waterfall Walk in Northland's Waima Forest is a short and sweet adventure to a stunning 20-meter waterfall. The track follows the Waiotemarama Stream through lush rainforest, offering picturesque views of the cascading falls and surrounding bush. It's an easy 30-minute return stroll not suitable for strollers though we did carry a toddler with us.
At the end of the track you will need to cross the stream to clamber up to the rocks pictured in the photo, so prepare to get wet feet.
