Lush glass houses connected by moss covered underground tunnels. My favorite part of Pukekura Park

Further information: Pukekura Park Fernery and Display Houses is a popular attraction in New Plymouth. Located on the outskirts of town, it's a great place for visitors and locals alike to explore some of the unique native flora and fauna of New Zealand. With sheltered walking paths, tranquil pond areas, and gardens full of spectacular plants and flowers, it's easy to get lost in this delightful area of the city. Additionally, the display houses contain beautiful displays of exotic ferns from around the world, adding an extra element of surprise to the experience. This is a must-visit spot if you're in the area, as it's sure to delight nature lovers of all ages!
