Wilson Creek Chasm is a hidden, narrow gorge with dramatic, mossy rock walls and crystal-clear water. To access the chasm, park in the gravel layby just after the Wilson Creek bridge on Haast Highway (SH6). Follow the river up behind the bridge into the chasm, it will only take a couple of minutes but your feet will get wet and it's very cold!! Please take care exploring this hidden gem and only attempt when the water level is low.
