Coopers Knob, part of Banks Peninsula in New Zealand, is an easy 1.1km trail with incredible views overlooking Lyttelton Harbour. Easily accessed from the Sign of the Kiwi on Dyers Pass, a series of tracks lead up to the top of the Knob's crest which was once a large volcano. The view from the summit is spectacular with sheer cliffs on one side and gentler slopes on the other. This walk is part of the Port Hills network offering magnificent panoramas from near Gebbies Pass to Godley Head. A perfect destination for those looking for a leisurely walk with great scenery and plenty of photo opportunities!
