Anyone passing by the entrance to the subway station on Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, on the corner with Rua Andrade Corvo, in Picoas, makes a quick teleportation to Paris! This is because one of the entrances to the station is a reproduction of the Cité station in the French capital, in Art Nouveau style.

The structure was a gift from the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP), the entity responsible for public transport in Paris, to Lisbon in 1995. A real charm!
