Step back in time at Högbergsfältet, a stunning nature reserve where the area's rich mining history is etched into the landscape. You can wander through beautiful pastures and meadows bordering the shimmering Lake Yngen, exploring the remnants of old mining operations from the 15th century. The highlight for many is the walk into Tilas Stoll, a horizontal mine shaft that offers a safe but thrilling glimpse into the past. From the parking areas, it's about a 1-kilometer walk to reach this fascinating tunnel, with well-marked trails guiding you through this historically significant and naturally beautiful area. There’s plenty of picnic spots and a couple of nice grillplats with free firewood. Most of the walking paths are stroller friendly, with some hilly areas.
