Storkasberget utsiktstorn

Directions

For one of the best views over Arvika and the shimmering Glafsfjorden lake, make your way to the Storkasberget observation tower. You can choose between a pleasant hike of just under 2 kilometers through mixed forest, following the orange markings, or simply drive all the way to the top. Once there, climb the 13-meter tower for a truly grand panorama, and feel free to use the picnic tables and fire pit to make an afternoon of it.

important! The steps to the tower are quite steep. My son is 4 and did okay, but we had to go slowly. Even if you don’t make it up to the tower, the views in the area are lovely and worth the visit anyway!
