Not fancy, but definitely finger-lickin’ 🍗
Raro Fried Chicken (RFC) in Avarua is a bit of an island icon — cheap, quick, and seriously popular with locals. It’s not your five-star dining experience, but if you’re craving salty, crispy fried chicken with hot chips and slaw, this place hits the spot. Perfect for a quick bite after the beach or a late-night food run (yep, it’s open 24/7!).
There are mixed reviews floating around, but we reckon for the price and portion, it’s worth a stop. And just a stone’s throw away is Annie’s Fried Chicken — a newer addition we’re really loving and prefer (also in this guide 😉).
