🏞️ A beautiful, well-formed trail along the pipeline with stunning native flora.

🌴 Lots of Nikau palms (our fav!), lots of birdlife, and untouched bush along the way.

🦜 Expect to spot Kereru, Tui, and Piwakawaka during your walk!

🚗 Parking is generally easy at the Titirangi end of the track.

🌅 The reward? A spectacular panoramic view from the top of Waitakere Dam, with sights of the Waitakere Ranges and Manakau Harbour.

From a reviewer: 'End point of the Beveridge Track. Nice short, easy walk with great views. Mostly shady and the whole path is very flat and gravelled. Worth a little walk :). We recommend the free parking lot at the Arataki Visitor Center as a starting point. From there you walk down the Beveridge Track to Mackies Rest. And back up the hill again... You can also park at Mackies Rest, but there is little parking there...'
