Rooseville Park is a small local reserve best for short walks, birdwatching and a quiet picnic under native trees, so expect a few unsealed tracks, limited parking and minimal facilities - bring water, snacks and insect repellent. Paths can get muddy after rain and cellphone reception may be patchy, so wear sturdy shoes and download maps if you plan to explore.

Dogs are welcome!

Reviews:

'Lovely park with a few small tracks. I walk my dog here daily and meet lots of other people with dogs too. Clean and respectful. Perfect for a small walk.' -Jonathan, Google

'Love it. It's an old wood, with lots of old and varied trees.......some amazing twisted roots and trunks. It's well maintained. There is a paddock to the side, which has good views towards the Bombays. Dogs can roam freely if under control - but please be a responsible owner and pick up any 'gifts' that your fur baby might leave. There is a picnic table too.' - Ian, Google
