Hidden off the routes of the 4 day 'Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk', Korokoro Falls tumbles 22 m in a graceful curtain into a rocky plunge pool. It’s reached via a ~30 minute side-track from Korokoro Campsite—a perfect little detour in the middle of a multi-day trek. Accessible on the 2nd or 3rd day of The Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk.

For a day trip, you can catch a water taxi instead from Lake Waikaremoana Motorcamp to Korokoro Campsite. The walk is approx a 1hr return walk.
