Right in the heart of the Tauranga harbour, this is one of those the best, affordable and local experiences that both visitors to the region, and us locals can experience that gives you a completely different perspective of our region. We recently hopped onboard with Kewpie Cruises along with our elderly overseas guests (including 1 person in a wheelchair), and we all had SUCH a wonderful time. From start to finish, this was a 10/10 from all of us, and we are already planning our next visit with friends, their dogs, kids and some inflatable SUP's so we can spend the day on Matakana Island together. Kewpie Cruises is a Harbour cruise with a big heart. You can take your dogs on board, they are wheelchair friendly and they offer a drop off/pick up to Matakana Island if you fancy a sun bath there in addition to their main amazing tour! The staff are absolutely amazing, giving you info the duration of your whole tour. The prices are reasonable too which always help.
