Gerðuberg Cliffs, located on the Snӕfellsnes Peninsula in west Iceland, are a stunning natural wonder made up of perfectly shaped hexagonal basalt columns. These columns, ranging from 7 to 14 meters tall, were formed by lava flows thousands of years ago and cooled by the sea, creating their unique geometric symmetry. You can easily access Gerðuberg while exploring the peninsula, where they can also enjoy other attractions like seal-watching beaches, sea-stacks, and volcanic landscapes.
