Llyn Parc, also known as "Llyn y Parc," is a lake nestled in the Gwydir Forest of North Wales. Covering 22 acres at an elevation of 664 feet, this long and narrow natural lake was once used to power machinery at a nearby mine. Despite its picturesque setting, the lake lacks fish due to high lead levels in the water. Additionally, it was hoped that Llyn Parc would act as a fire break during a forest fire in 1938, but the blaze proved too fierce. Overall, Llyn Parc offers a tranquil spot for nature lovers to enjoy the beauty of the Welsh countryside.
