Bliss is the ideal name for this state park. It has it all. D.L Bliss State Park is a beautiful destination in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for all types of outdoor enthusiasts. Guests can explore the park’s more than seven miles of trails, deep blue waters and stunning views of Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay from the Rubicon Trail. Visitors can choose to spend their day in the area by picnicking, fishing, scuba diving or snorkeling, beach combing, geocaching, or exploring the Rubicon Trail. On-site amenities include family camp sites, group camp sites, hike or bike rustic campsites, RV dump station, day use restroom/shower facilities, accessible parking, drinking water, and interpretive exhibits. During summer months, visitors are advised to dress in layers, check weather updates, bring plenty of snacks, drinking water, and adhere to the dog rules. With its various recreation activities and stunning natural beauty, D.L. Bliss State Park offers something for everyone.
