This is another iconic place in Truckee/Tahoe to see the Fall colors. Please tread lightly as the old shack is exactly that - old. And we all want to keep it around as long as possible, so please take only photo from this location and leave it better than you found it.

This is not really a hike but rather a very short walk from Hwy 267 to the shack along the road.
