The Taylor Creek Visitor Center in South Lake Tahoe is a cool spot where you can check out some awesome nature trails and even peek at fish through an underground viewing chamber. It's a great place to explore the beauty of Lake Tahoe, with easy walks like the Rainbow Trail and Lake of the Sky Trail. Plus, you might learn a thing or two about the local flora and fauna along the way. So, if you're looking for a fun outdoor adventure, Taylor Creek Visitor Center is definitely worth a visit! PRO TIP: The best time to visit is in the Fall. The large Aspen groves turn bright yellow and orange. The beginning of October, thousands of Kokanee Salmon start traveling up Taylor Creek to spawn - it's a must see and I try and go every year.

During the Salmon run in October, this is also a great place to see Black Bears feeding on the salmon.
