Knik Glacier, located in Alaska's Chugach Mountains, is a massive ice field stretching over 25 miles long and 5 miles wide. Although you can reach the glacier lake via ATV trails, and via fat tire bikes in the winter, the most common ways to reach a view of the glacier is to take a guided truck & boat tour or head out on a helicopter tour (this is the cheapest one). I haven't done the helicopter tour (yet) but I did take this tour to visit the glacier and it was incredible.
